The Winter Park and Fraser Chamber and the Grand Kids Learning Center are hosting Winter Park FallFest, a family-friendly event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Rendezvous Event Center in Winter Park.
In a news release, organizers touted how the festival will feature a silent auction, bake sale, face painting, bobbing for donuts, inflatables, an East Grand fire truck, a trackless train, a birds of prey exhibit and more.
Also, there will be a cornhole tournament starting at 2:30 p.m. and fall spirits and food available for sale.
Beyond that, the Grand County Blues Society will be conducting Blues in the Schools Rhythm and Percussion Bongo workshops while Scott Hackler and his band Shack and Friends play the event.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Grand Kids Learning Center on this annual event,” said Catherine Ross, the chamber’s executive director, in the release. “FallFest brings our community together in a way — with kids and games and fun and music — that strengthens the fabric of our community. And, we love helping facilitate that experience.”
Admission is free, but tickets are available for purchase to participate in a variety of the activities. All funds raised will go to Grand Kids Learning Center.
“Fall Fest is not just a celebration of the change in seasons but a celebration of our community here in Winter Park and Fraser and throughout the county,” said Ashley Bobo, executive director of the Center, in the release. “The funds raised at this event help support the early learning of all our students at GKLC.”
