A Kremmling man pleaded guilty on Thursday to second degree assault with a deadly weapon as an act of domestic violence.
Nathan Craw, 39, was arrested in July after an officer was dispatched to a home on Railroad Avenue in Kremmling at roughly 10:25 p.m. on a report of domestic violence involving a female victim.
According to the arrest warrant, the victim appeared to have seven to eight stab wounds to the back of her body and head while Craw had at least one wound on his leg. Neither Craw nor the woman recalled much of the incident.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Craw faces up to 10 years in jail. He will be sentenced by Judge Mary Hoak on March 12.
“(The) plea agreement brings closure to the victim in this case allowing her to focus on healing and moving forward,” the prosecution said in a statement.
Craw remains in Grand County Jail.
