Middle Park senior Alec Laraby knocked down four 3-pointers Friday against Skyview and the Panthers cruised to a 57-36 victory at home.

Middle Park’s defense was stingy all night and kept the Hawks off balance, something that wasn’t lost on Panthers coach Todd Williams.

“I thought we played with great effort especially on defense,” he said of the team, which forced 24 turnovers in the contest.

Altogether, Alec Laraby scored 14 points in the game, and so did his brother, Evan. Meanwhile, junior Cam Kirwan added nine points and seven rebounds. Jacob Smith and Evan Laraby also led the team in steals with four each.

Additionally, Middle Park shot 85% from the free throw line as a team.

The boys faced Jefferson on Tuesday and return to action again on Thursday against The Pinnacle on the road.
