Baffled by McLain Flats decision

I cannot believe more homework was not done regarding McLain Flats Road. If 3,500 cars go up and down the road daily and people are worried about bikers on the Rio Grande Trail not being able to get to Woody Creek Tavern, something is very off here!

How about all the people who will forfeit going into town to shop and eat because of the traffic on McLain Flats Road? Why were we not told of the option of the Rio Grande Trail earlier? What gives with politicians in this town?

Also, the light at Cemetery Lane will have to be fixed to allow more than three cars at a time to get through. If this is not fixed, the traffic will be backed up to at least Trentaz Drive.
