If you want to check out the Basalt Community Garden, this Saturday will be a good time to do it. There will be a bunch of gardeners getting it in shape from 9 am until 1 p.m. Come look it over and maybe sign up for your own garden plot to grow vegetables and flowers.
The garden is just west (toward down valley) of the Basalt High School. You will be very welcome.
