Airport advisory groups coming to form
Pitkin County commissioners plan to make appointments to the Airport Advisory Vision Committee and working groups in January.
More than 100 applicants have applied, with the period to sign up ending Dec. 14, according to the airport.
The advisory groups also will begin meeting in the early part of the new year. The meeting will be open to the public and the committees’ reports will be published on ASEvision.com and via this the airport’s Plane Talk newsletter. Recommendations made by the Airport Vision Committee, along with input from the topic-focused airport advisory groups and the community, will inform the county’s decision-making process.
Aspen-Pitkin County Airport and its program management team also will have launch event from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at a location to be determined. Food and beverages will be provided.
