A 26-year-old California man was found unresponsive Monday evening at an Aspen hotel, police said Tuesday afternoon.
Aspen Police Sgt. Rick Magnuson confirmed the man died Monday at the Hotel Jerome. Police were called to the hotel just before 9 p.m. The investigation continued Tuesday and there is “no indication of violence,” Magnuson said.
He said the identity of the man would come from the Coroner’s Office. Aspen police are expected to release more information this week.
The death remains an “active investigation so we will provide further information at a later date,” Magnuson said Tuesday.
