For over 52 years I’ve been a property owner and a visible part-time presence in Aspen. I lived the Golden Age in a beautiful mountain town.
However, over the past few years of change the one thing that truly bothered me was the carnival barkers standing in the open doorway of their cosmetics shop. So many friends when visiting from out of town remarked that approach to people just didn’t fit in Aspen.
So Friday, when reading about the shops and their familiar tactics, I thank karma for catching up to them (“Lawsuits: Aspen stores bullied, possibly drugged customers,” Dec. 20, The Aspen Times).
Wishing all a pleasant, blessed holiday season.
