Christies Aspen principals honored

Christies International Real Estate has recognized Alex and Laren Jansen as Overall Affiliate of the Year winner.

The ceremony recently took place at the culmination of the Annual Global Conference in Paris. Principal Alex Jansen with his wife and business partner, Laren, accepted the trophy at a black-tie dinner on behalf of Christies International Real Estate Aspen Snowmass and Coastal Properties Group International.

The Jansens recently relocated with their family to Colorado and entered into a partnership with Christie’s International Real Estate to open a branded Aspen brokerage while still running their flagship Florida company. A month later, they partnered with Aspen Associates Realty.

Architect Cunniffe recognized

Charles Cunniffe of Aspen firm Charles Cunniffe Architects was honored with the Mountain Living Legacy Award, which recognized top talent in the Rocky Mountain West who have made a significant contribution to mountain design.

Cunniffe was recognized for his 40-plus years in Colorado and CCA’s notable projects including the Aspen Police Department, Snowmass Fire Department and Mountain Rescue, among others. CCA was also awarded a LUXE Red Award at the awards ceremony in Napa Valley, which recognized national luxury home design. Cunniffe thanked his team for their dedication to their clients and for “continually pushing design excellence,” according to a statement.

Tiedemann Advisors adds exec

Tiedemann Advisors announced the appointment of Tricia Cunningham as senior vice president and adviser.

Cunningham joins Coley Cassidy in Tiedemann’s Aspen office. Cunningham come from Wells Fargo, where she led the Aspen Private Mortgage office after establishing the Aspen Private Bank. She has worked as a senior private banker, private mortgage lender for high-dollar complex loans, financial adviser and CPA.

She graduated from Georgetown University, with a B.S.B.A. in finance and a Master’s of Science in taxation. Cunningham has lived in Aspen for over 25 years.

Rowland-Broughton adds to Aspen staff

Rowland+Broughton Architecture / Urban Design / Interior Design recently announced the addition of Jonathan Rice as architectural designer at its Aspen office.

Rice has 15 years of experience working on such project types as resort, hospitality and custom residential. Most recently he was a designer and design team manager at CCY Architects in Aspen.

Originally from a town near London, Rice earned his Bachelor of Architecture and Master’s of Architecture at the School of Architecture at Brighton University, and achieved accreditation from the Royal Institute of British Architects for studies abroad in Czechoslovakia.
