Sarah Manning of Aspen keeps tabs on happenings back home as she relaxes on the longest stretch of beach in the state of Hawaii. Polihale Beach on Kauai is accessed via an unpaved, former cane haul road, spanning 17 miles of white sand and sand dunes, just south of the renowned Na Pali Coast.
