Ali Berry, who spent part of her youth in Aspen’s public and private school systems, was happy to rest with The Aspen Times and her finisher’s medal from the New York City Marathon on Nov. 3. Her mother, Jeanne Anderson, also was on hand to celebrate the 26-mile, 385-yard feat, which Berry accomplished in 4 hours, 45 minutes, and 5 seconds.
