Elected officials from throughout the Roaring Fork Valley are inviting constituents to ski or ride with them at Snowmass Ski Area on Thursday.
Elected officials from Eagle County, Pitkin County Basalt and Snowmass Village will hit the slopes.
“The event will give participants the opportunity to touch base outside the confines of a formal meeting,” said a news release from Eagle County.
Participants will meet at 10 a.m. at the Intercept Lot at Highway 82 and Brush Creek Road or at 10:30 a.m. at the Elk Camp Gondola base. No RSVPs are necessary but participants must provide their own lift ticket.
The group will have a powder day. Several inches of snow are forecast to fall in the upper valley Wednesday.
