I have been surprised about complaints concerning crowed conditions on the slopes this winter. My reaction this season is “Where is everybody?” I have skied 28 times according to my Aspen app; 19 times at Highlands, seven at Buttermilk and two at Snowmass and have mostly had the slopes to myself since I like to ski where others are not.
The excellence of Aspen Skiing Co.’s product is an expensive one to deliver. I applaud and thank them for the experience while I continue to pursue empty slopes and the absence of lift lines.
