Support Read for Holy Cross board

In 2018, Holy Cross Energy announced its 70 by 30 resource plan committing to 70 percent renewable energy by 2030. It’s a bold and ambitious plan by our utility to transition their energy supply to clean energy sources and ensure that the economies of the mountain communities they serve continue to thrive.

Changing climate represents a significant threat to communities like mine that depend on the outdoor recreation economy. Efforts like those at Holy Cross Energy to radically reshape their business for the long term health of the communities they serve are only possible with a board of directors that supports this transition.

You have an opportunity to elect board members right now by mail-in ballot if you are a Holy Cross customer. The best person for the job is Larissa Read. She has worked on several local climate action plans and will be a strong voice for our future while ensuring we continue to secure low-cost energy. Please vote for Larissa!
