Survivors unlikely after car goes off cliff in Grand County, police say

A car was found Friday morning that appeared to have driven off Trough Road, near Inspiration Point in Grand County, according to law enforcement.

Early reports from the scene indicated that the car contained two individuals, according to police, and it is unlikely that anybody survived.

The car was assumed to have gone off the cliff, which could be as far as 400 yards away from the road, located on the extreme west side of Grand County, overnight Thursday and was seen from the road by a road and bridge worker Friday.
