Larissa Read is a positive force for advancing ideas and actions that enhance our community, and will continue her contributions when elected to the Holy Cross Energy board of directors. With increasing awareness of the impacts of a warming climate on our water resources, forest health and recreational economy, our citizens are looking to utilities and service providers as those with the greatest ability to invest in the infrastructure and operations needed to make progress in reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases.

She has worked locally with stakeholders to develop the Eagle County and Aspen Climate Action Plans and will hit the ground running with an understanding of the energy cost and climate challenges faced by local businesses, ranchers and the recreation industry.
Her experience and track record in facilitating difficult and complex community discussions have earned her a reputation as an effective contributor and heart-felt leader.
