Westbound Interstate 70 at the Silverthorne interchange will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today for asphalt patching operations.
The work will take place from on the bridge’s two lanes crossing U.S. 6 east and Highway 9 north, according to a news release by the Colorado Department of Transportation. Westbound traffic will be detoured from I-70 to U.S. 6/Loveland Pass, and can return to westbound I-70 at Silverthorne, just west of the work zone.
CDOT is undertaking the patching operation to take advantage of a favorable weather window.
