A Woman Saved A Man’s Life Using Linkin Park Lyrics

“Who cares if one more light goes out, in a sky of a billion stars? I do.”

The legacy of Chester Bennington lives on through Linkin Park‘s lyrics, and this emotional story is a testament to that fact.

Earlier this week, a woman in Orlando, Florida pulled over to go to the aid of a man sitting on the ledge of an overpass, threatening to jump. She sat with him, and talked to him while waiting for law enforcement support to arrive.

To try and comfort the man, the woman recited a lyric from Linkin Park’s ‘One More Light’: “Who cares if one more light goes out? Well, I do.”

“I didn’t know if it clicked with him, but he just cried,” the woman shared.

Shortly after, a police officer arrived on the scene, pulling the man to safety.
