Alex Gaskarth Has Shared All Time Low’s New Album Is “Indicative Of The Moshpits That We Came From”

This all sounds super promising.

More details are coming to light about the direction of the upcoming All Time Low album, and with every detail we get more excited.

Speaking to NME, All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth has shared that work has already begun on the new album, and they’re taking the learnings from their 2017 album ‘Last Young Renegade’ when it comes to the direction of their new album.

“Some of my favourite songs that we’ve ever written are on that record, but maybe what it didn’t provide was a lot of the fast pace and tempo that a lot of people are used to,” Alex shared about ‘Last Young Renegade’.

“When I look back and think about it critically, there wasn’t a lot of ‘party music’, that our band has normally been known for. That record was a little more tame and mellow, so we want to take what we learned from ‘Last Young Renegade’ and maybe make it a bit more upbeat. We want our next record to be more energetic and indicative of the moshpits that we came from.”

“During some time [off] I’ve been in Nashville to get the gears turning with the next All Time Low record,” he shared. “It’s early days yet, but it’s exciting nonetheless. The new music sounds really cool and the ideas are flowing.”

Well if the new era of All Time Low sounds anything like their stand-alone single ‘Everything Is Fine’, consider us pretty bloody excited.
