Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has taken to Instagram to share some potential new Green Day lyrics, as interpreted by his iPhone microphone.
Essentially, it’s a whole lot of garbled nonsense. Explaining what happened in the caption, Billie Joe shared “I was trying to use microphone voice speak thingy to write lyrics and this is what it thought I said. Complete nonsense.”
If you feel you can interpret them, you have the frontman’s blessing to use them in your own songs, sharing “feel free to write a song with these lyrics”.
So if you want to write a song and use Billie Joe’s lyrics, this is what you have to work with: “Gonna let it girl gave Forad rah is are we are back get out gonna it girl is the rah rah case are are set setting up a Balm but dinner gonna”.
