Brendon Urie is truly having a massive year.
It’s been a very big year for Panic! At The Disco. Between breaking records, touring almost non-stop and collaborating with the likes of Taylor Swift and Little Dicky, yesterday Brendon Urie was honoured by being given the key to the city of his hometown in Las Vegas.
The key was presented to Brendon by the Las Vegas commissioner Jim Gibson, in honour of his contribution to the city over his career.
The ceremony took place in Las Vegas, the day before Brendon is set to hit the stage for two performances at the Billboard Music Awards – one alongside Taylor Swift – and likely collect a few awards as well.

Other recipients of the key of Las Vegas include Elvis Presley, Britney Spears and Madonna.
Brendon has always been particularly proud of his Vegas heritage, and the city has run through most of Panic! At The Disco’s discography. Panic! formed in the early 2000s on the streets of Vegas, their second album ‘Pretty. Odd.’ was recorded at The Palms hotel and casino – not to mention the more on the nose track ‘Vegas Lights’ off ‘Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die’.
