A year of making change.
grandson had an immense 2018. From kicking off the year and shooting into the social consciousness with his breakout single ‘Thoughts & Prayers’, to getting signed by Fueled By Ramen and touring the world- 2018 was a year of creating change.
He also launched The XX Resistance- an organisation to help mobilise passionate people with causes they care about, which he took out on the road with him.
“XX Resistance is a movement that serves to empower youth and connect passionate people with ways to get involved in the progressive causes they care about.
Through events, collaborations with charities and organizations across the world, as well as brand partnerships XX resistance will empower people to participate in the fight for social good.”
Current beneficiaries of XX Resistance include HeadCount, No Thoughts No Prayers and Campaign Zero.
And judging by this Tour Documentary which chronicles 2018 on the road with grandson, he spent the year affecting massive change and having an impact across North America- and the world.
He shared in the video “If you came along for this ride and you took a walk in my shoes, it would be impossible to leave with anything other than a really excited, optimistic perspective on where we’re headed.”
