Kevin Lyman has revealed that he tried to get My Chemical Romance to reunite for the 25th anniversary dates of Vans Warped Tour.
After announcing their 2019 line-up on Friday, fans took to Twitter to ask him why their specific favourite bands weren’t playing – including My Chemical Romance (who, not for nothing, have been broken up now for almost six years).
In response to a fan asking if My Chem could play the Atlantic City date if they reformed, Kevin replied “I tried”.

He continued in another tweet “It would have been epic to have them. Remember the first time I saw them, they were traveling in a van. They played both warped and taste of chaos that year and every show was special.”
Can’t blame him for trying, but equally can’t blame My Chem for saying no.
