Linkin Park’s ‘In The End’ Is The Most-Streamed Song From The Year 2000

Very well deserved.

The British Phonographic Industry [BPI] released data overnight which lists the most-streamed songs of 2018 by the year they were released, from 1960 through to last year.

The data has been collated to list which song from each year from 1960 through to 2018 has been streamed the most times in the UK – and Linkin Park take the crown for the year 2000 with their massive hit ‘In The End’.

in 2018, fans streamed Linkin Park’s ‘In The End’ an enormous 16.8 million times. A huge number – especially considering it was released 18 years prior.

This is also a testament to the longevity and the long-lasting impact of Linkin Park – especially considering that ‘In The End’ has triumphed over the likes of ‘Smooth’ by Santana and ‘Say My Name’ by Destiny’s Child which both came out in 2000 as well.

Elsewhere on the list, Nickelback‘s 2001 hit ‘How You Remind Me’ got a whole lot of love last year as well, with over 11.4 million streams.

And because we have the perfect excuse, turn up ‘In The End’ as well:
