Mark Hoppus & Pete Wentz Made A Kids TV Show Together

The Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy members teamed up for the ultimate cartoon.

Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus has revealed in a new interview that he once worked on a kids TV show alongside Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz.

Mark was a guest on The Kevin And Bean Show on LA’s legendary radio station KROQ when he revealed that the series, entitled ‘Bronze Blue’, was pitched to Nickelodeon and Disney Channel in 2010, but sadly never came to fruition. The show would have starred Hoppus, Wentz, Ashlee Simpson and possibly even Pharell Williams as an underwater pop punk band, touring beaches with their eco-friendly tunes and taking on the evil villainous Sushi Chef. Members of All Time Low and FOB frontman Patrick Stump had apparently also been approached to appear.

Mark would have played the role of Tako, the guitar-playing Octopus, and Pete would have taken on the character of Shrimpy, a bass who plays the bass (get it?).

But wait, it gets even better, as Variety have now uncovered a few of the songs that were set to be included in ‘Bronze Blue’.

Plus, writer Jensen Karp also posted a track called ‘The Algae Theme Song’ on Soundcloud which you can check out below:

Who knows – maybe we could still see this cartoon get made one day? Weirder things have happened…
