IT’S HAPPENING.
Earlier in the year, it was reported that Netflix had green-lit a second season for the television adaptation of Gerard Way‘s comic book The Umbrella Academy.
Fans around the world were devastated when it came to pass that the announcement had been premature.
HOWEVER. Today – the news we were all waiting for.
The Umbrella Academy has officially been renewed for a second season!
Production on the second season will begin later this year in Toronto, Canada with Steve Blackman returning as the showrunner and executive producer, and Gerard Way continuing as an executive producer on the series.
Season two is set to be 10 episodes long.
