Panic! At The Disco’s ‘High Hopes’ Is The Longest-Leading Number One In Over A Decade

Smashing records all over the place.

Panic! At The Disco are continuing to break records on their ‘Pray For The Wicked’ album cycle.

This week, Panic!’s single ‘High Hopes’ became the longest-leading number one on the Adult Pop Songs Radio Airplay Chart in over a decade.

Needless to say, Brendon Urie probably had ‘High Hopes’ that this would happen.

‘High Hopes’ took the number one spot on the chart at the beginning of December 2018, and has held fast to that title ever since – which means that this week ‘High Hopes’ has been sitting pretty at number one for 15 weeks, overtaking Maroon 5 and Cardi B‘s ‘Girls Like You’ which held the title for 14 weeks earlier in 2018.

It’s curently sitting at number seven for the longest run at number one in history, behind the likes of ‘Iris’ by Goo Goo Dolls and ‘Complicated’ by Avril Lavigne. Check out the full list below:
