HERE WE GO.
Slam Dunk Festival have dropped their first line-up announcement this morning, with headliners Don Broco leading the charge. But it’s also a special moment for the lads in Broco – this will mark their debut festival headline set!
Sharing their excitement for the Slam Dunk headline set, Don Broco have shared “We bloody love Slam Dunk so it’s a massive honour to be asked to headline next year! Right from our early EP days we’ve always had the best time at Slammy D. It was our first proper festival booking way back when, and since we’ve played slots throughout the years on pretty much all the stages, most recently a very surreal performance for us the year before last playing to sea of Rob face masks on the main stage. With this being our first ever festival headline we will certainly be making it a show to remember.”
As well as announcing Broco as the 2020 headliner, Slam Dunk have also announced 10 other bands who will be appearing on the line-up, including appearances from State Champs, The Wonder Years, Mayday Parade and more.
The line-up sees the return of Motion City Soundtrack, following the announcement of their reunion earlier this year after breaking up in 2016.
Also on the first line-up announcement are Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck, Bayside, Ice Nine Kills, ISSUES and Hands Like Houses.
Slam Dunk 2020 will take place on May 23 in Leeds and May 24 in Hatfield, with tickets available here from Friday, September 27 at 10am.
Super early bird Slam Dunk tickets for 2020 will be sold at the original 2019 price, but only for a limited time.
