It’s. Happening.

Tool have announced the release date of their upcoming album – marking the first new music from them in over a decade.
Last night they announced the date on stage in Birmingham, Alabama.
During their headline set, the date August 30 flashed up on the on-stage screens. According to Consequence Of Sound, frontman Maynard James Keenan reportedly told fans to take photos and share the news online.
“Alright everyone take out your phones,” he reportedly shared. “security stand down and let these fuckers do whatever it is with their phones.”
This comes after they debuted two brand new, unheard tracks at a festival appearance over the weekend.
