Congratulations won’t suffice. A standing ovation for Twenty One Pilots.
Today is a big day. Today marks four years that Twenty One Pilots huge album ‘Blurryface’ has been in the Billboard 200 album chart.
That’s right – since it was released four years ago on May 17, 2015, ‘Blurryface’ has been sitting in the top 200 album chart. Four entire years.
‘Blurryface’ went all the way to number one, too!
And because we’re feeling nostalgic, here’s a few other things that happened during the ‘Blurryface’ album cycle:
Tyler Joseph let us all in on a little secret, hidden in the lyrics of ‘The Judge’, which is now mandatory crowd participation whenever they play it live.
if you listen close,
“the judge” at 4:25 i yell “josh dun”.he was standing on the other side of the glass when i recorded that take.

They accepted a GRAMMY award in their underwear.

PLUS ‘Blurryface’ became the first album in history to ever have every single track certified Gold. THE FIRST. The FIRST EVER.
Basically, here’s to Twenty One Pilots, here’s to ‘Blurryface’, and here’s to another four years in the charts.
