Maya, a Modern Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar by Chef Richard Sandoval, is now open at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain. It offers a fun and casual dining experience with a very approachable menu. Fresh ingredients are sourced seasonally from Maya’s on-site garden.
Maya’s menu features may varieties of guacamole, each made table side. Additional tasty starters include tuna tartare, as well as mahi mahi ceviche, queso fundido and chicken flautas. Chef’s specials range from decadent lobster and shrimp yucatan, Colorado bass to traditional favorites like carne asada and slow roasted pork carnitas.
Special summer offerings at Maya Beaver Creek include:
· June 15 Banfi Wine Event: $40 per person, featuring six wines, a sampling menu and the chance to interact with Wine Maker Sebastián Rodríguez and Chef Sandoval
· Friday Maya Patio Parties: Every Friday from June 21 to Aug. 30 – Deck opens at 4 p.m., live music from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., drink specials
· Maya Happy Hour – Daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. serving $2 Tacos, $5 Margaritas and $4 Bites
· Bottomless Margarita Brunch – Every Saturday & Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
