Before her appearance in Steamboat for the Bud Light Rocks the Boat Concert on March 30th, @iammaggierose chats with us about her early days in music as a member, being thrust into the country music industry upon moving to Nashville, and then claiming her own identity and her own voice. Not only does she show off a powerful voice through her music, but she has become a powerful voice for defending musician’s rights in the modern world of music by taking steps to ensure AI does not take the human element out of future musical performances. With her visit to Steamboat in 2020 being the first victim of the Covid shutdowns, she is excited to bring her music to the base of the ski area four years later!
Maggie Rose is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter who dreamed up her own unbridled collision of rock n’roll, soul, folk, funk, and R&B. After years of honing her chops and making her name as a force-of-nature vocalist, Rose’s live experiences include opening for Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and touring as direct support for Kelly Clarkson. She has made festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Fest and Austin City Limits, and has taken the stage at The Grand Ole Opry over 75 times.
