Foo Fighters Announce 25th Anniversary Tour

The band are hitting the road across the US.

Foo Fighters have announced details of their upcoming 25th anniversary tour.

The band will hit the road across the US on ‘The Van Tour’, visiting some of the same locations they played back in 1995. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 21 at 10am Local Time.

Plus, at each show, the crowd will get a sneak peak at frontman Dave Grohl’s new documentary ‘What Drives Us’, which according to their press release “explores motivations, recounts personal anecdotes, and explores the physical and psychological toll of touring in vans via interviews with members of van tour veteran bands ranging from Black Flag and Dead Kennedys to Metallica and The Beatles, and many, many more.”

And while they haven’t given away full details quite just yet, the group appear to be implying that there may be more shows to come at some smaller venues alongside their arena gigs. Could they be playing some of the venues they played back in 1995? “Stay tuned for the answer to that question.”
