RS Charts: Justin Bieber, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie Debut Multiple Songs on RS 100

A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Justin Bieber dominated the latest Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart, peppering the ranking with new songs.

A Boogie wit da Hoodie launched seven tracks onto the RS 100, including three in the Top 40. The leader was “Me and My Guitar,” a heartbroken ballad produced by Andrew Watt and Louis Bell, which earned 11.3 million streams, good for a Number 18 debut. “Might Not Give Up” arrived at Number 23 with 10 million streams, and “Stain” followed at Number 38 with 8.8 million streams. All three songs appeared on Artist 2.0.

Bieber also sent seven new songs from Changes onto the RS 100. The top debut was “Forever,” featuring Post Malone and Clever, which bowed at Number Nine with 15 million streams.

Despite the onslaught of new, highly streamed singles, Roddy Ricch continued to rule the RS 100 with “The Box.” His lead over the long-running Number Two track, Drake and Future’s “Life Is Good,” shrank this week. But Ricch still easily out-streamed his primary competition — “The Box” amassed 35.5 million streams, while “Life Is Good” racked up 27.1 million.

The Rolling Stone Top 100 chart tracks the most popular songs of the week in the United States. Songs are ranked by song units, a number that combines audio streams and song sales using a custom weighting system. The chart does not include passive listening like terrestrial radio or digital radio. The Rolling Stone Top 100 chart is updated daily, and each week Rolling Stone finalizes and publishes an official version of the chart, covering the seven-day period ending with the previous Thursday.

Bieber wasn’t the only prominent star to release new music last week. Sam Smith’s “To Die For” debuted at Number 30 on the RS 100 with 8.2 million streams. The Weeknd’s “After Hours,” the title track to the singer’s upcoming album, arrived at Number 43. And “Go Stupid,” a new collaboration between the rising rappers Polo G, Stunna 4 Vegas, and NLE Choppa, streamed its way to Number 33.
