Join Mountain Valley Horse Rescue on Sunday, July 26th at Bearcat Stables in Cordillera for delicious food and family fun all in support of the rescue horses! A brunch buffet will be served from 9am to 2pm. Stop by at your convenience to fill up as you learn the stories of horses in need in our community.
Mountain Valley Horse Rescue has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming equines in our mountain region since 2004. The Rescue’s current space in Eagle has capacity for 20 horses at a time. Some arrive due to county seizure, others are given up by their owners, and others have been purchased at auctions so they are not sold to slaughter houses. Though the animals arrive under different circumstances and in varying health, all are given the best care and training available to be ready for adoption.
The Summer Brunch for Horses is Mountain Valley Horse Rescue’s largest annual fundraising event, helping raise needed funds to keep the rescue horses fed and on their way to full recovery. Delicious food and a beautiful setting all for a good cause? Why not join in? Who knows, you may even find a new four-legged friend to join your family!
