“I am an Army veteran, an amputee and above all, a climber. I am climbing Mt. Everest to bring awareness to PTSD and the struggles veterans face coming home from war.” -Chad Jukes
We met Chad at KSKE a couple of years ago when he came by for an interview about his role in the film High Ground. We were impressed with this guy immediately! Chad is continuing to pursue his passion of climbing and furthering his mission to bring awareness to PTSD.
Recently Chad has been saddled by some red tape and has had to add additional time and expense to the trip. If you are able to support Chad please do so by visiting his Generosity.com account HERE
“I arrived in Kathmandu last week to find that we have permit delays and fundraising gaps. The Chinese government has delayed issuing climbing permits for me and many others planning to climb in Tibet. This delay has saddled me with unexpected travel, food and lodging expenses. I need to raise money for Sherpa support, visas and permits, gear transport and unexpected expenses as I continue to prepare to climb Mt. Everest from the north.
Any extra funds will be donated to the No Barriers Warriors program.
Thank you so much for your contributions!” -Chad Jukes
