Agnes passed away peacefully, Wednesday, 11-13-19. She was 90. Born in Brooklyn, New York, lived in Broad Channel and went to school in Queens, New York. She moved to Glenwood Springs in 1949, where she worked for J.C. Penney’s and the Lucky GJ Guest ranch in Gypsum. She married Sam Grange 4-12-52 and moved to the family ranch on Missouri Heights where they raised 2 children, Steve and Elaine.
She had a love for life and enjoyed dancing, playing cards, readings, quilting, fishing, swimming and people. Children Steve (Mellonee) Grange, Elaine (Kim) Duerr, grandchildren Sean (Kendra) Duerr, Heather Farney, Matt (Theresa) Grange, Sarah Grange + 16 great grandchildren + nieces + nephews.
Services will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rifle. There will be a rosary Friday 11-22-19 at 6:30 pm. Mass will be Saturday 11-23-19 at 10:00 am. Lunch will be provided.
