Eagle River Fire Protection District crews responded to a confirmed gas leak on Benchmark Road in fron of the Seasons building in Avon this afternoon.
Xcel Energy is en route as of 3:30 p.m., and the road has been shut down to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area.
