Delia Boyd-Robertson (Jantzen) (February 14, 1927 — April 24, 2019)

Delia “Dee” Boyd-Robertson passed away peacefully in Santa Clara, California, on April 24, 2019. A long-time resident of her neighborhood, she raised her children and built many lasting friendships. Our hearts swell with gratitude and pride that this strong, independent, courageous and smart lady was our family, our neighbor, our friend.

Born in Fowler, Colorado, the daughter of Raymond and Beulah Jantzen, Dee would graduate from Glenwood Springs High School. Moving to San Pablo, CA, at the end of WWII, she met and married Robert Blake. In the mid 1960s Delia would remarry (Coleman Boyd-Robertson).

She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Beulah Jantzen, brother Raymond “Hap” Jantzen (Lois), and sisters Elizabeth Hubbard (Jack) and Georgia Bigum (Haines), husbands Robert Blake and Coleman Boyd-Robertson.

She is survived by her children Deborah Blake (Barbara Medina), Cynthia Blake Carpenter, and Robert Blake (Mary Beth); step-daughter Julie Perry; grandchildren Michelle Ray and Christopher Blake, Melissa Hart (Ryan), and Allison Schumer (Alex); step-grandchildren Jillian, Drew and Torrance Perry; great-grandson Robert Ray; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held on June 1, 2019, 1 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
