Gerald (Jerry) Bretz passed away on May 11th, 2019, in Plainville, Kansas, at the age of 99 years old. Gerald was born on February 16th, 1920, and lived in Glenwood Springs (No Name) with his wife, Irene, (passed 2004) since 1982. He served in WWII as an Army tank gunner in the Pacific, taught high school and farmed in KS, and loved the mountains, fishing, and people of the valley. He will be greatly missed.
