Eagle-Vail’s Mikaela Shiffrin has spoken about what it was like to meet Roger Federer over the summer.
“He said in his heyday when he was busiest he would have tried to take a little more time to celebrate the victories or at least just enjoy them a little bit more,” she said in January. “It doesn’t have to be something extravagant, and I really took that to heart.”
