PHOTOS: Hotel Colorado illuminates the night with holiday lights

With holiday lights, live performances, booming fireworks and more, Hotel Colorado’s Annual Lightning Ceremony is a cherished tradition of the Roaring Fork Valley.

Maybe it’s because the famous hotel adorns its halls and walls with half a million Christmas lights. Or, perhaps it’s the talented artisans competing in the gingerbread competition. Whatever it is, Friday’s 33rd Annual Lighting Ceremony made for another magical night.
