The seven-race Vail Trail Running Series returns this summer featuring iconic trail races. Races are open to ages 13 and older, and racers can expect well-marked routes, fully stocked aid stations, experienced volunteers and courses that are challenging for pros and enjoyed by beginners.
The race series is on Saturdays, starting May 18 with the Boneyard Boogie in Eagle and concluding Sept. 14 with the MeadowGold 10K and 5K in Minturn.
Registration for all seven races costs $200 before May 1. Racers can save $5 on individual races by registering prior to the week of the race. Registration is available online at http://www.vailrec.com/register.
