New music from Tyler Farr is near, as he’s released a new single produced by Jason Aldean. “Only Truck in Town” marks a commercial return for Farr, who broke through at country radio with “Redneck Crazy” in 2013.
Issued through a joint deal with Broken Bow Records and Aldean’s label Night Train Records, “Only Truck in Town” will impact country radio on Feb. 18. Farr formerly recorded for Columbia Nashville, although his last album for that label was released in 2015.
Farr said in a statement, “Words can’t express how pumped I am for this new song. ’Only Truck in Town’ is exactly what I wanted as a single coming back to radio. Jason and I both knew this was the one when we first heard it and thought it would connect with country music fans the way it did with us. I’m very blessed and very grateful for this time in my life.”
Aldean co-produced the song with his bandmates Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy. “Everyone knows Tyler’s voice but they haven’t heard him like this before,” said Aldean. “We all had such a blast working on this and I’m excited for fans to crank this one up.”
“Only Truck in Town” was written by Ben Hayslip, Deric Ruttan and Josh Thompson. Farr’s other hits include “Whiskey in My Water” and “Guy Walks Into a Bar.”
