Alpine Bank reports giving $4.2M to support communities across Colorado, including Summit

Alpine Bank has donated a record $4.2 million to support community groups and nonprofit organizations across Colorado, according to the company.

One way customers have helped this happen is by participating in Alpine Bank’s unique Loyalty Debit Card program, which gives 10 cents for every personal debit card transaction directed by the bank’s customers to support the arts, community, education and the environment.

“Our four Alpine Banks, which are Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Dillon and Frisco are proud to say that we gave back right at $46,000 from our Loyalty Card Program in 2018 directly to nonprofits in Summit County,” said Jamie Dicks, regional marketing coordinator, in a Monday email.

Overall, the program reportedly spurred the bank to donate $1.2 million in 2018, which Alpine Bank reports is another record amount.

“We want to thank our loyal customers who’ve made it possible for Alpine Bank to give back more than ever before,” said chief digital officer Andrew Karow in a statement. “The Loyalty Card program has been a tremendous success enabling Alpine Bank and our customers to support our communities in an unparalleled fashion.”

Headquartered in Glenwood Springs, Alpine Bank has 40 banking offices across the state.
