Eisenhower Tunnel closed due to vehicle fire; I-70 closed between Exit 205 and mile marker 215

8:34 p.m.: Westbound I-70 has reopened

The Colorado Department of Transportation is reporting that a vehicle fire forced a closure of the Eisenhower Tunnel at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Interstate 70 is closed in both directions between Exit 205 and mile marker 215. As of 8 p.m. there was no estimated time of reopening.
