Breckenridge Film Festival is calling for entries for the 2019 festival slated for Sept. 19-22.
Films have historically been submitted by locals, as well as global filmmakers. Submission fees are at their lowest in the early bird submission period, which ends Feb 1. Films will be accepted in traditional categories, including documentary, comedy, drama, short comedy and short drama. For the human spirit category of films, organizers say they are seeking “honest films of a redeeming nature that speak to the deeper experiences of life that often shape, transform and guide the human experience.”
Entries are also welcome for the adventure films, animation and music videos categories.
Local, regional, national and international filmmakers are encouraged to submit amateur and professional films alike, and festival organizers are particularly interested in receiving locally produced adventure films.
Filmmakers whose films are selected for the festival will be given a chance to visit Breckenridge and present their film while they enjoy the festival hospitality, including lodging, and mingle with fellow filmmakers and audiences.
