The Friends of the Dillon Ranger District will host its second annual Casino Night fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Silverthorne Pavilion. The night will be full of games, good company, fundraising and fun. Try your luck at poker, blackjack, roulette and craps, and if you win big, you’ll have the chance to choose from an array of prizes. Guests will also be able to bid on donated items in a silent auction. Light appetizers will be served and beer and wine will be available for purchase. The goals of the night are to raise funds for FDRD and its stewardship of national forestland through trail maintenance, restoration projects, educational events and youth programs. Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door. Online tickets will have a $3 service transaction fee. Ticket purchase includes $500 in “funny money” for gambling. Additional buy-in will be available at the event.
