Frisco offers free Women of Bill’s Ranch tour in celebration of Women’s History Month

The Frisco Historic Park & Museum will be celebrating Women’s History Month with a free Women of Bill’s Ranch tour on March 30, focusing on the history of pioneering women in the area.

Bill’s Ranch became Frisco’s first subdivision when William Thomas offered free land to 100 Denver residents if they built cabins on it. The tour will walk participants through Thomas’ decision to make the offer, and dive into the ranch’s history and the women who helped to shape the area.

Advanced registration for the tour is required, and can be made by calling 970-668-3428. Participants should be prepared for unpredictable weather, with sturdy walking shoes and warm clothes. Dogs are not permitted.
