The 2019 Winter Lecture Series at the Frisco Historic Park & Museum is set to kick off in February, beginning with a presentation on Mountain Rescues of Summit County.
On Feb. 6, Glen Kraatz will provide guests with a lecture regarding the volunteers of Summit County’s mountain rescue team, who have been responding to backcountry calls for help for more than 45 years. Visitors will learn about the history of the crew, along with captivating stories of search and rescue missions over the years.
The lecture series will run on Wednesdays from Feb. 6 through March 27, each beginning at 3 p.m. at the Historic Park Log Chapel. Seating is limited, so interested parties should arrive early.
